The Live Electroacoustic Research Kitchen started out of the Electronic Music Studios at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada as an effort to break away from standard studio produced electroacoustic music.

We originally started with guided improvisation and later found the experience to be much more satisfying with uninhibited free for all improv.
