Re combined Alex Berman's interest in field recordings, and my interest in improvised music to attempt to create music using only live environment sampling.

At shows we would hang microphones out of the windows, or point them out of the doors and process the sound to make the music

The result was a weird reinterpretation of the sounds that our brains had deliberately filtered out. By placing the sounds in a musical context we're forced reconsider them, re-acquaint ourselves with them.

Collaborators Gabor Papp and Annie Wan provided a video complement to the audio, processing live video feeds of the locations that were mic'd.
